Svante has sailed all his life with a strong focus on racing in boats such as Laser, 470, Snipe, R6a, Drake, Farr30 and a number of different offshore racers. He has participated in over 15 European Championships/World Cups, mainly in Europe. In recent years, there has been more adventure sailing in Europe, on the North Sea, across the Atlantic and in the Azores. Svante has a Master of Yacht Unlimited and studies to become a Sea Captain at the University of Chalmers.

I have had a passion for sailing all my life and have experienced great adventures at sea. I started sailing at an early age and have continued to explore and learn about sailing over the years. One of my greatest sailing achievements was when I participated in the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) Winners 2017 with the boat Celeste.

In addition to long-distance sailing, I also have experience in racing. Various dinghies, Farr 30 and more and have had the opportunity to compete against other passionate sailors. My favorite type of sailing, however, is solo sailing on my 35-foot One Design boat. It gives me a sense of freedom and independence as I take care of all aspects of sailing myself.

With a Master of Yacht and high speed certificate, I have trained to sail larger boats like Celeste. In addition to my passion for sailing, I am also a trained chef and run Billström’s Fisk in Helsingborg. My love for the sea extends to my professional life. Combining my two passions, sailing and cooking, is a real joy for me.

My sailing journey has given me the opportunity to learn how to deal with different challenges at sea and to develop my skills as a sailor. I look forward to continuing to explore the sea and create new memorable sailing experiences with you. / Johan B
