This leg combines bluewater sailing with exploring two of the most unique archipelagos in Europe.

We will gather on Celeste on August 6 in Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, south of Southampton Portsmouth. While in Cowes you will get a chance to see some of the most iconic sailing yachts in the world after they have finished the Fastnet Race. Celeste will also have participated in the race.
Provisioning will take place on August 6–7, a task we will handle together as a crew, ensuring we have supplies for the entire journey. Once provisioning is complete, we will set off on the famous Solent and head towards the Isles of Scilly.
An archipelago outstandingly beautiful, uncrowded and unspoilt. The cruise to Scilly Isle will take 1-2 days.
The Isles of Scilly lie just off the coast of Cornwall but are a world apart in every way. A natural wonder, like a cluster of precious ocean jewels, where nature thrives and the soul is inspired.

After a pleasant stop to explore, we will make final preparations for offshore sailing and set course for the Azores, approximately 1,200 nautical miles to the southwest. The crossing will take 6–8 days, providing an excellent opportunity to experience true offshore sailing in the Atlantic.

The weather in the Azores is usually comparable to a warm Swedish summer. With some luck, we may see dolphins and hopefully even whales. There will also likely be a chance to take a refreshing swim in the deep blue Atlantic.

Our final destination in the Azores is Ponta Delgada on the main island. However, we will try to include a stop at either Terceira or Horta on Faial, depending on the weather conditions during our crossing from the Isles of Scilly.
We strongly recommend staying a few days on São Miguel to explore its truly unique nature before you return home.
